Order Respecting the Remission of Customs Duty on Rotogravure Printing Rolls Imported by Domco Industries Limited, Farnham, Quebec

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 101 of the Customs TariffFootnote *, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order respecting the remission of customs duty on rotogravure printing rolls imported by DOMCO Industries Limited, Farnham, Quebec.

Short Title

 This Order may be cited as the DOMCO Remission Order No. 2.

Remission

 Remission is hereby granted of the customs duty paid or payable under the Customs Tariff on rotogravure printing rolls imported by DOMCO Industries Limited, Farnham, Quebec, other than 20 per cent of the duty payable under the Customs Tariff on the value of the work done outside Canada to increase their value or alter their condition by any process of manufacture or other means, on condition that

  • (a) they are imported on or after July 1, 1988;

  • (b) they are used in the manufacture of resilient floor coverings by DOMCO Industries Limited;

  • (c) they are not less than 144 inches face width; and

  • (d) a claim for remission is made to the Minister of National Revenue, within three years of the date of their importation.
