Ontario Fishery Regulations, 1989

4 (1) Except as otherwise provided in the provincial Act, no person shall, without the appropriate licence,

• (a) engage in angling or any other means of fishing;

• (b) ship or transport or attempt to ship or transport live fish other than bait-fish; or

• (c) deposit or attempt to deposit live fish taken from one body of water into another body of water.

(2) Paragraph (1)(a) does not apply to a person who is fishing under the authority of a licence issued under the Aboriginal Communal Fishing Licences Regulations.
