Order Authorizing the Maximum Amounts that May Be Paid in the Year 1991 as Benefits under Sections 24, 25 and 26 of the Unemployment Insurance Act

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Immigration and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsections 24(4), 25(10) and 26(8) of the Unemployment Insurance Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order authorizing the maximum amounts that may be paid in the year 1991 as benefits under sections 24, 25 and 26 of the Unemployment Insurance Act, effective January 1, 1991.

Short Title

 This Order may be cited as the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Order, 1991.

Maximum Benefits

 The maximum amounts that may be paid in the year 1991 as benefits under sections 24, 25 and 26 of the Unemployment Insurance Act, are $230,000,000, $120,000,000 and $620,000,000, respectively.
