9.5 (1) Every plumbing system that supplies potable water and removes water-borne waste

• (a) shall meet the standards set out in the National Plumbing Code of Canada 2020, developed by the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes and published by the National Research Council of Canada; and

• (b) subject to subsection (2), shall be connected to a municipal sanitation sewer or water main.

(2) If it is not feasible to comply with paragraph (1)(b), the employer shall provide a waste disposal system that meets the standards set out in ANSI/PSAI standard Z4.3-2016, entitled Sanitation - Nonsewered Waste-Disposal Systems - Minimum Requirements, as amended from time to time.
