Marginal note:Data sources and tests

  •  (1) The person responsible for a flammable product must determine the appropriate sub-category for the product in accordance with section 49 using human experience data or the results of tests conducted in accordance with the test methods set out in sections 50 to 52 and Schedule 1.

  • Marginal note:Exemption

    (2) A flammable product that is classified in the sub-category “combustible” is exempt from the requirements of this Part if it

    • (a) is composed of 50% or more of water and 50% or less of water-miscible solvent; and

    • (b) does not sustain combustion when tested in accordance with Test L.2.
