2 In this Act,

Chairperson

président

Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Round Table appointed pursuant to subsection 6(1); (président)

Executive Director

Executive Director[Repealed, 2004, c. 16, s. 19]

member

member means a member of the Round Table appointed pursuant to subsection 6(1) or (2); (Version anglaise seulement)

Minister

ministre

Minister means such member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada as may be designated by the Governor in Council as the Minister for the purposes of this Act; (ministre)

President

President means the President of the Round Table appointed under section 10; (président-directeur général)

Round Table

Organisme

Round Table means the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy established by section 3; (Organisme)

sustainable development

développement durable

sustainable development means development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. (développement durable)
