His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to paragraph 55(1)(z) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances ActFootnote a, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Exempting Certain Precursors and Controlled Substances from the Application of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Exemptions
1 The substances set out in Schedule I are exempt from the application of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Coming into Force
Footnote *4 These Regulations come into force on the day which the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, chapter 19 of the Statutes of Canada, 1996, comes into force.
