45 (1) Paragraph 148(1)(a) of the Act is replaced by the following:
(a) not carry to Canada a person who is prescribed or does not hold a prescribed document, or whom an officer directs not to be carried;
(2) Paragraph 148(1)(d) of the French version of the Act is replaced by the following:

53 Subsection 7(1) of the Act is replaced by the following:

7 (1) The amount that may be paid under this Act to an individual is the amount of eligible wages owing to the individual up to a maximum of an amount equal to four times the maximum weekly insurable earnings under the Employment Insurance Act, less any amount prescribed by regulation.
